Where does the money go? Hosting the Little League Canadian Championship Tournament is an expensive venture. The funds raised by Ancaster Little League help to offset the costs of each team travelling to and from Ancaster from points all across the country. Coaches are put up in hotels, and Ancaster Little League provides meals and rental vehicles to the coaches to transport their teams. While teams are here the players are entertained at several functions to be planned by the Host Committee, including the Tournament Banquet. Funds are also used for umpiring costs, facility upgrades and maintenance during the Tournament, as well as for the Tournament Program and souvenirs for all the players. Your support is very much appreciated, as we strive to make Ancaster 2010 the best Canadian Little League Championship ever. |
